History

MCSA (Medical Campus Student Ambassadors) started in October, 2012 with the support from NTU's current president, Dr. Pan-Chyr Yang, who was the Dean of College of Medicine at that time.

It originated as a mission-oriented student club, which organized enthustiatic student ambassadors to receive and do some orientation for international guests.

We have our first ambassador selection on 12/07/2012. The 19 ambassadors (including 18 for English and one for Japanese) was qualified to host visitors on behave of the College of Medicine. Since then, we have received numerous pretigious professors from aroud the world and gradually grown into a more sophisticated organization. We invited Pro. Marc Anthony as our club's instructor in order to train future ambassadors of international etiquettei, ice breaking, email-writting skills and etc.. Ambassadors also began to work on projects to create more international cooperations, including one visiting Peking University in 2013.

In 05/07/2014, ambassadors had a general assembly with Dean Dr. Shan-Chwen Chang and Pro. Tsai-Kun Li, the director of Office of International Affairs. With unanimously approvement, MCSA underwent a fundamental change. We were incoporate into the Office of International Affairs, which allows the student ambassadors more accesses to different resources.
